Edite is a partner advising on global financial regulation, banking, insurance and artificial intelligence.

Overview

​​​Edite is a barrister and represents financial sponsors, investment firms, banks, insurance companies and corporates on financial services, insurance and corporate law matters. Prior to joining Theseus, she practised at 1 Crown Office Row Chambers and at a top-tier US law firm in London.

​​

​​She published extensively on a broad range of subjects including financial and insurance regulation, artificial intelligence and crypto assets and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences.​

Experience

• Abu Dhabi Investment Council on various acquisitions

• AmTrust on its $218.7 million acquisition of ANV Holding B.V.

• AIG on the proposed sale of AIA Group Limited to Prudential plc for $35.5 billion

• GreyCastle Holdings on its $570 million acquisition, backed by a consortium of investors, of the run‑off Life Reinsurance operations of XL Group

• Catlin Group on its £200 million rights issue, underwritten by JP Morgan and UBS

• Hanover Insurance Group on its £313 million public bid for Chaucer Holdings

• AIG Inc. on the development of the first global insurance capital standard (ICS)

• MetLife Inc. on the development of the activities-based approach to the identification and mitigation of systemic risk in the insurance sector and the development of the ICS​​​​
